Energy efficiency and climate change are priority issues in our winery and addressed to decrease carbon emissions andreach a more efficient use of energy.
At VIU MANENT we employ different practices that directly benefit both the environment and our community.
Some of those practices include:
– Reducing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions through greater electric energy efficiency. We expect to decrease 10% of the intensity of GHG generated through the use of electricity in the wine cellar by 2015.
- Using simple practices in the offices and cellars to enourage more awareness of the importance of saving energy.
